MEKONG KAMPUCHEA KIDS PROJECT (MKK)
TWO COMPONENTS OF MKK PROJECT
TECHNICAL AND VOCATION EDUCATION AND TRAINING (TVET)
Our Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs are designed to equip students with practical, in-demand skills that align with Cambodia’s job market.
CHILD EDUCATION
The Child Education (CE) program supports underprivileged children in Kampong Cham with scholarships, academic and cultural education, and early childhood care to promote their overall development and success in school.
TVET
Our Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs offer hands-on training in key sectors such as Hospitality(Kitchen, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Front Office), Electronics (Air Conditioner & CCTV Repair), Mechanics(Car & Motorbike Repair), and Beauty Services (Make-up & Barbering).
To ensure our trainees are truly prepared for the workforce, we go beyond technical instruction. Students benefit from free accommodation, allowances, healthcare, and a supportive living environment. They also engage in soft skills, life skills, and preparatory classes that boost their confidence and readiness for employment.
Our structured curriculum combines practical learning with thorough assessments, ensuring every graduate is job-ready. More than just training, our programs foster a sense of community—students live and learn together, sharing experiences and growing as a team.

The Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Program
The Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) program is a core program of the MKK project. It plays an important role in providing children from disadvantaged families with access to quality early education. By establishing strong educational foundations at a young age, the program supports children in developing essential skills and positive behaviors that promote lifelong learning and social well-being.
Additional Support: The Mekong Kampuchea Kids (MKK) Project also provides students with essential learning materials, snacks, and opportunities to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities. This holistic approach ensures that students receive well-rounded support, addressing both their academic needs and personal development. By nurturing their physical, social, and emotional well-being, the project helps create a positive and encouraging environment for learning and growth.
